8/22/2017 Alex Wood, LAD, P
Wood could land on the disabled list with shoulder inflammation.

Analysis: Manager Dave Roberts said the left shoulder injury is a recurrence of the same issue that sent Wood to the 10-day disabled list in May: inflammation in the sternoclavicular joint on the front side of his pitching shoulder. "It's a little concerning considering his history," Roberts said. "We have got to be cautious." Wood is 14-1 with a 2.41 ERA for the MLB-leading Dodgers this season.

8/22/2017 Pedro Báez, LAD, P
Pedro Baez blew his second save, allowing one run on one hit and three walks in 0.1 innings, as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-5 on Monday. Baez did not strike out a batter, ending the game with a 1.90 ERA and 1.21 WHIP on the season.

Analysis: Baez isn't having a great August after mostly excelling through the season's first two months. The often-used right-hander is 0-1 with a 4.91 ERA and a 1.77 WHIP in seven appearances this month, though he has notched five holds during that time frame.

Analysis: Cole hasn't been in top form despite recording 16 strikeouts over his past two starts, as he's been tagged for nine runs and four homers in 12 1/3 innings. The Pittsburgh ace had gone 4-1 with a 2.77 ERA over a stretch of seven straight quality starts prior to this recent downturn.

Analysis: Harrison has brought some power back to his game by homering three times over his last six contests, a stretch in which he's 9 for 22 with five RBIs and eight runs scored. The 2017 All-Star is batting .347 (17 for 49) with four homers, 10 RBIs and 10 runs scored in his last 12 games at PNC Park as well.
